MYiR Tech’s MYD-LT527-SX is a board designed for digital signage and Smart Display applications based on the MYC-LT527 Allwinner T527 system-on-module from the company and offering a range of display interfaces namely HDMI, eDP, MIPI DSI and dual-channel LVDS.
The digital signage board builds upon MYiR Tech’s MYD-LT527 development board with a larger design featuring many of the same ports (dual GbE, USB 3.0, audio jack, HDMI output), and plenty of connectors for expansion including additional USB 2.0 interfaces, speaker and microphone, RS232, RS485, CAN Bus, and more.

Last time around, MYiR Tech said the Android 13 image was ready for the MYC-LT527 with a Yocto-based Linux 5.15 image with Qt planned for April 2024, and Ubuntu/Debian images expected by May 2024, but the company now only mentions the Android 13 operating system with Linux 5.15 for the MYD-LT527-SX board.
Besides digital signage and Smart Displays, the MYD-LT527-SX board might find its way into robots, energy and power systems, medical devices, various HMI applications, Edge AI gateways, and vehicle terminals.
While MYiR Tech never makes software resources and related documentation available publicly, the company always provides pricing information for their boards, and the MYD-LT527-SX is not different with the company asking for $95 for a sample of the board with a power plug and a Quick Start Guide. The optional MIPI Camera Module adds $25, and a 12V/2A power adapter costs $5. More details and purchase links can be found on the product page and in the press release.
