We’ve recently completed the review of the Arylic BP50 Bluetooth preamplifier where we tested the audio quality while streaming audio from the TIDAL Music app. But RAKOIT also sent us the Arylic H50 wireless stereo amplifier for review, and we’ll report on our experience with that device today using the TIDAL Music app again.
The H50 is an audio streaming player with a digital-to-analog (DAC) converter chip and a built-in power amplifier. It supports wireless networks such as WiFi and Bluetooth and plenty of wired connections namely analog RCA line In, analog RCA phono In, digital optical in, Subwoofer out, RJ45 LAN port, HDMI ARC, USB Type-A Host, and USB Type-C.
To use the Arylic H50, simply connect the output signal cable to stereo speakers (passive speaker) with 50 watts of output power on each side, allowing you to stream music from various services through the 4STREAM app or Spotify, Tidal, Apple AirPlay, and Alexa… Multi-room audio is also supported.

Internally the amplifier comes with an ESS Saber ES9023P DAC with support for up to 192kHz/24-bit decoding and a dynamic range of up to 112dB. You’ll find more details about the specifications in our earlier post about the Arylic H50 amplifier.
Testbed equipment
For this review, we’ll connect the Arylic H50 wireless stereo amplifier B&W DM550 series speakers. The TIDAL Music app will run on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet with the “TIDAL HiFi Plus” subscription enabling 24-bit, 192 KHz audio playback. We’ll also use a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro smartphone as a video & audio recording device.
The room used for the test measures 5 x 4 x 3.5m, the speakers are distanced 1.4 meters from each other, and the recording will be done at around 1.6 meters from the speakers. The equalizer is set to FLAT and we didn’t adjust the bass-treble settings.
Arylic H50 review with the Tidal Music app
The first test song is “Wish You Were Here” by Alpha Blondy part of the album Jah Victory. It’s a Champeta-Reggae song and Alpha Blondy is an Ivorian reggae singer. The melody is characterized by the sound of the drums which makes it fun to listen to and contrast the singer’s unique and raw singing voice. His songs also have political and social motives. The audio was recorded with MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) quality. You’ll find the song on the TIDAL app under track number 293330.
Next up is the song “Colour To The Moon” by Allan Taylor part of the “Colour To The Moon 2000” album. The style of the music is Pop Folk and the English singer and composer has a unique singing voice. The audio was recorded in “HIGH” quality and can be found in the TIDAL app under the tracking number 77168304.
Our next test song is You’ve Got a Friend” by Don Williams from the Top 20 Country album. Donald Ray Williams is an American country music songwriter and singer with a straightforward yet gentle bass-baritone voice. The audio recording quality in TIDAL is “HIGH”, and you can find it under track number 23176422.
Let’s now play “The Way That I Love You” by Michael David Rosenberg, better known by his stage name “Passenger”, who is an Indie Folk artist. Nowadays, it’s difficult to find beautiful folk songs, but this song does the job and feels like listening to an old song. The lyrics are very beautiful, and the reviewer especially liked the following part of the lyrics “Discard what is fake, keep what is real. Pursue what you love, embrace how you feel. If only you could love yourself the way that I love you.” The song is available in “HIGH” audio recording quality under track number 132419671 in the TIDAL Music app.
Next up is the hip-hop song “All My Life (feat. J. Cole)” by Lil Durk and J.Cole. Many may view hip-hop and rap songs as fun or entertainment to play to relax or during a party. On the other side, many rapper artists try to drive society forward by asking for the basic rights of the people, for instance, this song talks about youngsters in the United States who are in dangerous situations. This song is available in FLAC format in the TIDAL app under the track number 292863733.
Our final test song for the Arylic H50 review is “The Ballad on a Boat” by Zhao Peng from The Greatest Basso album. It’s a Chinese classical song with the singer having a unique high-pitched voice that has a tremolo in the voice, as the deep, crisp sound gradually descends slowly, indicating sadness and loneliness. The song is available in TIDAL under track number 8255215 with HIGH audio recording quality.
