NVIDIA Jetson Nano vision developer kit

The Jetson Nano AI camera devkit comes preloaded with NVIDIA Jetpack based on Ubuntu 18.04 Linux operating systems and the camera supports V4L2 and Gstreamer just like the e-Con Systems e-CAM20_CURB Raspberry Pi 4 camera we tested last month. But the OS image also includes OpenCV and the no-code/low-code ADLINK’s EVA (Edge AI Vision Analytics) SDK with two pre-installed AI vision applications for Pose Detection and Object Classification with open-source training, a labeling tool, and SOP as demonstrated in the video below narrated in Mandarin but you can enable closed captions for subtitles in English.

The ADLINK EVA portal also provides tutorials, application templates and resources for proof-of-concept development.

The ADLINK AI Camera Dev Kit is said to be available now, but you’ll need to contact the company to request pricing and order a sample.  More details may be found on the product page.

  1. As far as I understand NVIDIA Jetson Nano is already phased out, their current JetPack SDK does not support it anymore and you only see very few units left in shops – for astronomical prices.
