Powkiddy X2 is a Low-End Nintendo Switch Lookalike

Powkiddy specializes in handheld gaming consoles, and if their latest Powkiddy X2 portable game console looks familiar, it’s because it looks just like a Nintendo Switch.

But the comparison stops there. The NVIDIA processor is replaced by a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, the display has a lower resolution, the controllers aren’t detachable, and unsurprisingly you can’t play any Nintendo Switch games.

  1. It’ll probably be poorly received by developers, which is too bad, because it might have been a possibility for someone looking for an Odroid Go Advance that they don’t have to assemble themselves.

        1. Not sure. I mean it’s not that complicated to create a device like this. But I also wouldn’t purchase something on a site like this. Banggood, Aliexpress etc. are fine though.

  2. Interesting, but it doesn’t has Bluetooth. I think it would be way more interesting with Bluetooth.
