  1. Ewww.. expired KitKat for $17.
    Cant even run Kodi.

Would only pay for Rockchip RK3229 STB at that price.

  2. Just no value in buying these Chinese tv boxes. I brought some Cheap roku express devices and I think they are better bang for the buck.

  3. im not trying to sound like im attacking

but why are u even bothering to talk about these super cheap probably unstable media players , i mean if the firmware was good it might be worth it but i doubt its any good

    1. It depends on the application, some people may just want something dirt cheap for some basic app (e.g. single signage), and I’ve seen it looks possible to run Linux too.

      1. running linux is enough reason to be better than most of android tv’s that don’t run linux :). So, worth mentioning it. The problem here is the same as always, the box does not cost that anymore, so the actual price makes it not worth at all.

  4. To be fair there are still market where kitkat is fine. Not everyone uses Kodi.

For power users yes its a no go but for markets where their countries money does not buy hardware cheaply, it can be used. The main clue is the AV ports on the back.
