IGEPv5 comes preloaded with a firmware consisting of a minimal Linux-based distribution composed of U-boot, the Linux kernel, and a rootfs build with Yocto featuring a lite X Window System with GNOME Mobile based applications.
The company will also provide development tools namely: IGEP SDK Yocto Toolchain, IGEP SDK Virtual Machine, IGEP DSP Gstreamer Framework, and IGEP QEMU emulator. Hardware and software manuals, schematics, mechanical drawings and software will be made available too. Support will be provided via IGEP community.
Pricing is not available yet, but you can already reserved your board now by contacting ISEE’s sales department at sales@iseebcn.com, with the board shipping in January 2014.

how much does any one know ???
excellent specs. how’s the price?
By looking at the IGEPv2 price (cca 200 euros), I would not expect for IGEPv5 to be any cheaper :/
I wouldn’t expect that monstrosity to be very cheap. Look at all of the chips on the board. This isn’t like the RPi or Cubieboard, where everything is provided by just one main chip.
I’m wondering what the nine inductors clustered around one chip are for.
@Ian Tester
It must be a PMIC.
Anyway, TI’s AP biz part seems to be dead.
@Ian Tester
Cubieboard/RPi have the same amount of chips, at least on a logical level. SoC, NAND for storage, RAM, USB controller (if required), PMIC, HDMI controller, Wifi, Ethernet, and I could go on. Of course the extra headers, etc., require some price increase, but not that much. 200EUR for this board would be outrageous, given that the whole ARM SoC department of TI is now defunct, and there’s no support coming from them (nor sources).

Texas Instruments is still submitting patches for OMAP5 to the Linux mailing list. Recent example: https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/10/15/552
They also released a Linux SDK in July 2013 – http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP5_GLSDK_6.01_Release_Notes
They may have downsized and changed business direction, but they still have people working on it.
I got a short update from ISEE. There will apparently be 2 models:
A) 1GB RAM, No WIFI
B) 4GB RAM, full equip
