11.6-inch touchscreen display with In-Cell technology packs IPS panel and 10-point touch into a single layer

Waveshare has introduced an 11.6-inch touchscreen LCD with in-cell technology and 1768 × 828 resolution. The display comes with an IPS panel, a 10-point capacitive touchscreen, and supports HDMI and Type-C interfaces. It includes brightness control through the OSD menu and DDC/CI software. The screen offers a 178° viewing angle and 72% NTSC color gamut, delivering 300cd/m² brightness. While we haven’t yet covered such a large screen with in-cell technology, we previously reviewed the Elecrow CrowVi VF156T, a 15.6-inch ultra-thin IPS touchscreen display. This portable display features mini HDMI and USB-C input ports, making it compatible with various devices, including Windows 11 and Linux mini PCs, laptops, SBCs like the Raspberry Pi 5, and smartphones that support USB-C with DisplayPort Alt mode. Maxtang T0-FP750 review – Part 2: An AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS mini PC tested with Windows 11 Pro

We already listed the specifications and performed an unboxing and a teardown of the Maxtang T0-FP750 mini PC in the first part of the review. We’ve now had time to test the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS mini PC in more detail with the Windows 11 Pro operating system. So in the second part of the review, we’ll report our experience with the Maxtang T0-FP750 in Windows 11 Pro with a software overview, features testing, benchmarks, networking and storage performance,  cooling performance, and measurement of fan noise and power consumption. MIKRIK V2 Robot Car is an entry-level, open-source robotics kit built for ROS and 3D computer vision

The MIKRIK V2 Robot Car is an open-source robotics kit for studying 3D computer vision and is compatible with both ROS1 and ROS2 software suites. The two-wheel-drive robot is powered by a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (as a ROS1 differential drive controller) and a more powerful x86 or ARM single-board computer that can support ROS2 applications like the LattePanda Delta 3, Intel NUC, or NVIDIA Jetson Nano. The robot car uses the Intel Realsense D435i camera for 3D depth vision. It is a less expensive alternative to the iRobot Create, Husarion, and TurtleBot, and compares favorably with NVIDIA’s open-source JetBot AI robot platform. Maxtang T0-FP750 (AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS) mini PC review – Part 1: Specs, unboxing, teardown, and first boot

Maxtang T0-FP750 is a mini PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS octa-core/sixteen-thread SoC supporting up to 64GB 5600 MT/s dual-channel DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, equipped with two M.2 slots for up to NVMe 2280 SSDs, and an additional M.2 slot for a WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 module. The Windows 11 Pro mini computer can drive up to three displays via HDMI 2.0, USB4, and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and offers 2.5GbE networking. Vantron HCAM26 WiFi HaLow IP camera offers up to 1km range

Vantron HCAM26 is an IP camera based on the company’s VT-MOB-AH-L sub-GHz 802.11ah WiFi HaLow module itself equipped with Morse Micro MM6108 RISC-V SoC and offering up to 1km range and better wall penetration than WiFi security cameras operating at 2.4 GHz or 5GHz frequencies. The Linux camera comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB eMMC flash, features a 5MP (2592 x 1944) camera sensor, supports AI features through a 2.0 TOPS NPU integrated into the main SoC,  and is also fitted with a speaker and microphone for two-way audio, and a micro HDMI port to monitor the camera output. Renesas RRH62000 multi-sensor indoor air quality monitoring module features particle, VOC, and gas sensors

Renesas Electronics has introduced the RRH62000, a compact multi-sensor module for indoor air quality monitoring. It integrates particle detection, VOC, and gas sensing with an onboard Renesas MCU for sensor management. The module is designed for use in air purifiers, smoke detectors, HVAC systems, weather stations, and smart home devices. The RRH62000 is an integrated sensor module that measures key air quality parameters, including particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), Indoor Air Quality Index (IAQ), estimated carbon dioxide (eCO2), temperature (T), and relative humidity (RH). These measurements are combined into a single package, with digital outputs available for each sensor, enabling simultaneous measurement. Hardkernel has just launched the ODROID-M2 low-profile SBC based on a Rockchip RK3588S2 octa-core Cortex-A76/A55 AI SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5, 64GB eMMC flash, an M.2 PCIe socket, support for three displays through HDMI, USB-C, and MIPI DSI interfaces, gigabit Ethernet, and more. The ODROID-M2 follows the ODROID-M1 and ODROID-M1S single board computers based on respectively Rockchip RK3568 and RK3566 quad-core Cortex-A55 processors, but a significantly more powerful Rockchip RK3588S2 processor, and a larger 90x90mm form factor to accomodate for extra features and interfaces. Flipper Zero hacking tool gets ESP8266 Deauther add-on for Wi-Fi security and research

PCB Studios has just launched the “Flipper Zero ESP8266 Deauther” adapter board for Flipper Zero that enables users to conduct de-authentication attacks on Wi-Fi networks. Running a modified version of SpacehuhnTech’s ESP8266 Deauther software, this board has a variety of actions for testing 802.11 wireless networks. Its primary function, deauthentication, sends deauthing packets to the target network, disconnecting devices from their 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. In our last post about Flipper Zero, we wrote about Flipper Add-On CANBus a CAN bus hacking tool that can sniff, send, and log CAN bus packets.
