AAEON ACP-2106 and ACP-2076 are two fanless touch panel PCs powered by an Intel N50 or N97 Alder Lake-N processor with respectively 10-inch (1280 x 800) and 7-inch (1024×600) color TFT LCD displays with capacitive multi-touch support. Both models share the same key specifications with support for up to 32GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and a mPCIe socket for storage. Jetway JPIC-ADN1 is a fanless pico-ITX SBC powered by an Intel N97 or N200 Alder Lake-N processor and targeted at industrial robotics applications. The JPIC-ADN1 supports up to 32GB of memory via a single-channel SO-DIMM slot. The SoC comes with UHD Graphics, supporting dual-display outputs via HDMI 2.0b and a 24-bit dual-channel LVDS interface. Congatec has released a new line of Ryzen Embedded 8000-powered COM Express Type 6 Compact computer-on-modules with the conga-TCR8 module series offering up to 39 tera operations per second (TOPS) for AI inference and 128GB of DDR5-5600 memory with error correction code (ECC) for data-sensitive and data-critical applications. The Ryzen Embedded 8000 processor series comes with either six or eight ‘Zen 4’ cores, an integrated XDNA neural processing unit (16 TOPS), and the AMD Radeon RDNA 3 graphics unit which can be used as a general-purpose graphics processing unit with up to 12 compute units (adding up to 39 TOPS for the SoC). ASUS has launched the X7433RE-IM-A, a 3.5-inch industrial motherboard powered by an Intel Atom X7433RE Amston Lake SoC. The processor supports Intel Deep Learning Boost (DL Boost) and Intel AVX2 SIMD instructions to enhance AI processing and accelerate workloads at the IoT edge. The X7433RE-IM-A single-board computer supports up to 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz In-Band ECC memory via a SO-DIMM slot. The Intel Atom X7433RE processor, with integrated Intel UHD Graphics, supports up to three 4K displays through HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and LVDS/eDP 1.2. Waveshare has introduced an 11.6-inch touchscreen LCD with in-cell technology and 1768 × 828 resolution. The display comes with an IPS panel, a 10-point capacitive touchscreen, and supports HDMI and Type-C interfaces. It includes brightness control through the OSD menu and DDC/CI software. The screen offers a 178° viewing angle and 72% NTSC color gamut, delivering 300cd/m² brightness. While we haven’t yet covered such a large screen with in-cell technology, we previously reviewed the Elecrow CrowVi VF156T, a 15.6-inch ultra-thin IPS touchscreen display. This portable display features mini HDMI and USB-C input ports, making it compatible with various devices, including Windows 11 and Linux mini PCs, laptops, SBCs like the Raspberry Pi 5, and smartphones that support USB-C with DisplayPort Alt mode. Khadas Mind 2 is an update to the Raptor Lake-powered Khadas Mind portable mini PC offered with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 155H Meteor Lake processor. It ships with up to 64GB LPDDR5, PCIe 4.0 storage, and adds Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 interfaces that were missing from the first model. We reviewed the original Khadas Mind Premium with both Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04, and its dock, and it was indeed a pretty cool, albeit pricey, device with features like a small built-in battery to move the computer from one room to another without turning it off, and the Mind Link interface enabling connecting to the Khadas Dock for extra peripherals, the Mind Graphics for higher-end graphics, and more.
