ARCHOS G9 Tablets Get Android 4.0.3 with Firmware 4.0.4

Archos has finally released a new firmware for Archos 80 G9 / 101 G9 and A70B that supports Android 4.0.3 (ICS). There are also some improvements for the MediaCenter, File Manager and more. Archos has just released a new firmware for Archos 80 G9 / 101 G9 and A70B. Archos Gen8 Firmware Version 2.4.82 Released

Archos has released a new firmware for Archos 28/32/35/43/70/101 internet tablets (Generation 8). This is a bug fix version, no Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) here. Archos 80/101 G9 Firmware Version 3.2.6.1 Released

Archos has just released a new firmware for Archos 80 G9 / 101 G9. The most important fix is for Android Marketplace that did not work properly for everybody. Android 2.2 is now available for Archos 28/32/43/70/101 Internet Tablet

Archos has just released a firmware update for Gen8 Devices with Android 2.2.1. This will be faster and more responsive, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer for flash support since they need the flash plugin to be certified. If you already installed Google MarketPlace on your Archos device, you might need to wait for a new gApps4Archos.apk file or follow the instructions here, install the new version for Android 2.2. The file name is now gApps4Archos2.apk. Here are the features of this firmware update (2.0.54): 1.
