iPush Hi768 HDMI/AV Wi-Fi Display Dongle Supports DLNA, and Airplay for $22
Now EZCast dongles are my preferred type of Wi-Fi display dongle, although there are not perfect, they support Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac OS, and beside the proprietary EZCast protocol, they also support Miracast, Airplay, and DLNA. However, they cost between $30 to $40, and if all you are after is a cheap DLNA and Airplay adapter, you could get iPush Hi768 for $21.99 including shipping. This device also features an AV output (composite + stereo audio) to mirror your phone on your old TV. Here are the specifications as listed on Pandawill and some other sources: SoC – ACTIONS SEMI ATV6003 @ 500MHz System Memory – 64M or 128M DDR2 Storage – 16MB NOR flash Video Output – HDMI, AV/CVBS Connectivity – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (Built-in Realtek 8188 SDIO WiFi Module) Protocol – DLNA and Airplay. WiDicast EC-E2 Wi-Fi Display (EZCast / Miracast / DLNA) HDMI Dongle Review
After my review of Tronmart T1000, an EZCast / Miracast / DLNA HDMI adapter, I’ve received another EZCast dongle with the same features called WiDiCast EC-E2 sent to me by Shenzhen EC Technology, the manufacturer of the device. In case you are not familiar with this type of device, they allow you mirror and control your smartphone / tablet (Android, iPhone, iPad) or computer (Windows, Mac OS X) display on an HDMI TV. Today, I’ll go through the specifications, show some pictures including a comparison with T1000, and try it with an Android smartphone. Tronsmart T1000 Mirror2TV Review with Android and Windows XP
Tronsmart T1000 Mirror2TV is an EZcast HDMI dongle that connects to your TV, supports Miracast, DLNA, and Airplay, and sells for just $30 including shipping. I’ve just received a sample from Geekbuying, and I’ll post some pictures first, followed by a review with ThL W200 Android 4.2 smartphone, and Acer Aspire One D255 netbook running Windows XP. Tronsmart T1000 Unboxing Pictures The package shows it is a Wi-Fi display adapter supporting Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. Beside the dongle, there’s just a user’s manual (that I did not read, shame on me), and a funny USB wit a microUSB plug at one end, and a Wi-Fi module, and USB plug to connect to your TV or a power adapter at the other end. Since the Wi-Fi module is outside the dongle is much smaller than Android HDMI TV Sticks for example. Another advantage might be better Wi-Fi reception, as if […]
Tronsmart T1000 Mirror2TV EZCast, Miracast, Airplay, DLNA HDMI Dongle Sells for $29.99
There has already been several dongles released to the mark that support Miracast, Airplay, and DLNA, either a subset, or a combination of the standards. One of the cheapest is iPush that now sells in the low $20, but there are different models, and one of them is only supporting DLNA. A couple of months later, EZCast was released with support for DLNA, as well as Miracast and Airplay (with some limitations), and their own EZCast support. EZCast is supported on several hardware dongles that often sell for about $35 to $45, and although it’s not outrageously expensive, you can get full single or dual core Android HDMI TV for this price. I’ve just come across a new product called Tronsmart T1000 Mirror2TV sold for $29.99 including shipping by GeekBuying, and a couple of sellers on Aliexpress, that appears to be another EZCast dongle with support for Miracast, Airplay, and DLNA. […]
