SECO Modular Vision HMI displays support Arm and x86 SMARC 2.1 modules

SECO has unveiled a new HMI family of smart displays called the “Modular Vision” with NXP i.MX 93 (Arm), NXP i.MX 8M (Arm), or Intel Elkhart Lake (x86) powered SMARC 2.1-compliant system-on-modules and a display size ranging from 7-inch up to 15.6-inch. The goal is to offer a flexible platform to customers who can select various display sizes (7-inch, 10.1-inch, or 15.6-inch currently) and a SMARC module that closely matches the product’s requirements for example for a standalone panel PC. Liontron Rockchip RK3588 motherboard ships with 32GB RAM for $352

We recently noted Firefly had started selling their Rockchip RK3588(S) boards with 32GB RAM, but pricing starts at $469, so lower cost options may be worth a look at, and Liontron sells a Rockchip RK3588 motherboard with 32GB RAM for $352 including shipping (note: it’s a brand new shop started in June 2023). The single board computer also comes with up to 128GB eMMC flash, SATA storage support, HDMI 2.1 video output, three LCD interfaces, dual Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and more. All that is offered in a low-profile motherboard that’s only marginally thicker (14mm vs 11mm) than the RWA027-RK3588 SBC we covered earlier this week. ARBOR’s ELIT-1060 triple display terminal is a rugged fanless mini PC powered by an Intel Celeron N6210 dual-core Elkhart Lake processor with two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort connector each supporting up to 4Kp60 resolution.
