Axiomtek AIE110-XNX Edge AI developer kit provides up to 21 TOPS of accelerated AI computing performance thanks to an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX system-on-module with a 6-core NVIDIA Carmel ARM v8.2 64-bit CPU and a 384-core NVIDIA Volta GPU with 48 Tensor Cores. We’ve previously checked out the hardware of the GEEKOM AS 6 mini PC, the retail version of the ASUS PN53, using an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU with unboxing, teardown, and the first boot in the first part of the review. We’ve now spent more time with Windows 11 Pro on GEEKOM AS 6 for a thorough review, it’s one of the fastest mini PCs we’ve tested so far, and there are only a few downsides as we’ll see in the second part of the review. Initially launched with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U mobile processor last year, the CHUWI LarkBox X mini PC is now available with an Intel Processor N100 Alder Lake-N CPU and sold on Amazon for $199. CrowVision is an 11.6-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with 1366×768 resolution that is designed to work not only with the Raspberry Pi but most single board computers with mounting holes within a 100 x 80 mm rectangle. Elecrow sent me a sample so I’ll try it out with a Raspberry Pi, a Windows 11 mini PC, and a Ubuntu 22.04 laptop to make sure it works well with those operating systems. First introduced in 2022, the Khadas VIM4 SBC will now sell with an Amlogic A311D2-N0D Cortex-A73/A53 processor equipped with a 3.2 TOPS NPU, and the version without AI accelerator will be phased out. I reviewed the Khadas VIM4 with both Android 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 last year, and really liked the user experience notably thanks to the OOWOW system that makes it really easy to try different operating systems downloaded from Khadas servers, although some features like support for GPU acceleration still needed to be worked on at the time.
