ASRock Industrial recently launched the IMB-A8000, an industrial and embedded motherboard in a mini-ITX form factor. As an embedded motherboard, it is powered by AMD Ryzen Embedded 8000 series APU which features 8 cores and 16 threads, built with 4nm technology, and including a 16 TOPS AI accelerator. The motherboard supports up to 96GB of dual-channel DDR5-5600MHz memory and includes one 2.5GbE LAN port and one GbE LAN port. With a wide temperature range of -20ºC to 70ºC this motherboard can be used in applications like manufacturing, robotics, machine vision, and more. MYIR Tech has announced the release of the Rockchip RK3568-based MYC-LR3568 Edge AI system-on-module (SoM) offered in a compact 381-pin expansion LGA package design. It features up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB eMMC flash storage, a power management integrated circuit, and various connectivity options. The base configuration of the MYC-LR3568 system-on-module offers only 2GB RAM and 16GB storage but the module supports up to 8GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. It supports several video codecs, including 4K 60fps H.265/H.264/VP9 decoding and 1080P 60fps H.265/H.264 encoding, for high-quality video playback and recording. The Recore A8 is an all-in-one 3D printer control board built around the Allwinner A64 SoC. The board includes six soldered TMC2209 stepper motor drivers, cooled by an 8-layer PCB for durability. To make the connection better the board features industry-standard JST PH connectors for secure cable connections. Most of the connectors are flexible and support end-stops, Neopixels, servos, inductive probes, and BLTouch. Two Expansion headers on the board allow for two additional stepper motor drivers.
