Sorry that I don’t have an Nvidia Jetson TK1 board to give away…, but if you were interesting in getting one the best ARM Linux boards available today, and found the $192 price tag a little too high, Make announced a ~50% discount offer to get the board for $99 on Nvidia store using MAKEJTK1 coupon.
Here’s a reminder of the board’s specifications:
- SoC – Nvidia Tegra K1 SoC with 4-Plus-1 quad-core ARM Cortex A15 CPU, and Kepler GPU with 192 CUDA cores (Model T124)
- System Memory – 2 GB x16 memory with 64 bit width
- Storage – 16 GB 4.51 eMMC memory, SATA data + power ports, full size SD/MMC slot, and 4MB SPI boot flash.
- Video Output – HDMI port
- Audio – ALC5639 Realtek Audio codec with Mic in and Line out
- Connectivity – RTL8111GS Realtek GigE LAN
- USB – 1x USB 2.0 OTG port, micro AB, 1x USB 3.0 port, A
- Debugging – RS232 serial port, JTAG
- Expansion
- 1x Half mini-PCIE slot
- Expansion port with access to DP/LVDS, Touch SPI 1×4 + 1×1 CSI-2, GPIOs, UART, HSIC, I2c
- Sensor – TMP451 temperature monitor
- Misc – Power, reset and recovery buttons, power and network LEDs, fan header
- Power – AMS AS3722 Power Management IC for power and sequencing.
- Dimensions – 12.7×12.7 cm
You’ll need to add shipping bringing the total to $107.80 in the US, but one of the downsides is that it’s currently on backorder, so you may have to be patient. The other downside is Nvidia will only ship to the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and some other small islands, so if you don’t happen to live there you are out of luck unless you use forwarder such as Shipito or MyUS.com. You’ll have to pay the forwarder and possibly custom duties, but this would probably still be cheaper than buying from a local site at full price.

Hnnnnggg! This sure is tempting!
How long is the offer for?
i really dont understand, why nvidia dont want sell worldwide?
i want shield android tv, but sell is only in usa.
also they dont make jetson wih tegra x1, only tk1, but for 99 is very good.
they are lost market share, then lost developer support because less market, but they dont care and only want sell in usa, well hope fire the stupid ceo because their products are good and support seems good also.
Why not Australia fukkkkkkkn camon nvidia
Usa only.. this suxx! I hope this will change in future. With this package re-sender the price about 170$(+other fee’s) to Hungary/ Europe! 🙁 Nvidia… why???
I’d lke to see a comparison of jetson tk1 and odroid xu4, mainly the integer performance is what I’m interested in. Anybody seen these two in the same test?

@Peter Bauer
thanks Peter for the info. I guess the benchmark in this case favours xu4 as it was run on all 8 cores and the linked results of tk1 only on 4 cores. But it looks both boards are roughly the same in terms of processing power, so I’m happy to stick to xu4 untill there is affordable a72 dev board available.
@Peter Bauer
If I did get one, I’d probably be more interested in using it as a mini server (an upgrade for my 2yo Cubietruck). So I’d probably put Debian Sid and the latest kernel on it. The Open Source KMS/DRM/Mesa (Nouveau) drivers apparently support it quite well.
My only concerns are that 32-bit ARM (ARMv7-A) is getting old, and 2GB of RAM can be limiting. But how soon is a good and affordable ARM64 board going to become available?
Woohoo, this means that they are probably cleaning out inventory so they can start selling their X1 dev boards soon!
@Andrew
That’s the other thing to consider 🙂
Bingo!

But US$599 is a little too steep.
finally jetson tx1! but $599 presell and dont ship worldwide!
How about this AMD64 board. It is on ebay for $140-$160US

@Frank
Lemaker Hikey ARM64 board should cost about $75 with 1GB RAM, $99 with 2GB RAM -> http://www.lenovator.com/product/86.html
There’s also DragonBoard 410c with similar specs, but a Qualcomm processor. $75 including shipping on arrow.
