I will try to get Firefly’s linux image on it. Though this only have 8GB NAND, I would need to find a way to modify the partition layout.
Coupon doesn’t work for me!
Wenle Z., i need to put linux on it too (for metadata and monitor services of home ceph cluster). If you succeed to put linux on it, please share your knwoledge :).
ps : happy to have shared this offer with cnx-software community 🙂
To dualboot linux here check Linuxium page https://plus.google.com/+IanMORRISON/posts .
So now it’s possible to boot Linux even on this TV01ii box?
@fossxplorer
It might. At least now, you can try to boot Linux from SD card relatively safely, and without messing with the Android firmware in the internal flash. But not everything might work, including Wi-Fi, audio, and the usual drivers for GPU and VPU.
@Wenle Z.
please share if you get linux on it!

@Wilson
One of the 4 USB ports is an OTG port, so you need to connect it to your PC.
There’s also a “reset” button, which should be a recovery button.
The rest is explained @ http://www.cnx-software.com/2014/08/12/how-to-upgrade-firmware-in-rockchip-rk3288-android-tv-boxes/
i just got one of the three boxes today and hope that the other two will come soon. i also noticed there are 4 usb 2.0 ports and on one them it says otg so thats the onee we will use when flashing and they also sent out a usb 2.0 to usb 2.0 cable which is nice i did not have one of those. will test the box today and see how it performs.
