The rear panel layout looks identical to the motherboard used for the earlier CWWK X86-P5 mini PC/soft router, so I would not be surprised if the Twin Lake device used the same mainboard. The CWWK X86-P6 “Pocket NAS” / “Pocket PC” appears to be preloaded with Windows 11, but considering its feature set, most people will likely run FreeBSD or Linux-based distributions like TrueNAS CORE or OpenMediaVault.
It looks like there’s already an internal PWM fan at the bottom of the computer, but if you’d like extra cooling at the top for the NVMe SSDs, the mini PC also comes with four mounting holes with an additional external USB fan.
The CWWK X86-P6 can be purchased on AliExpress for about $200 (barebone) and up depending on CPU (Core 3 N355 adds about $120), storage, and memory options. You’ll also find the Intel Processor N100 model on Amazon under third-party brands like FakestarPC or Starfly.
