reComputer R1113-10 specifications

The reComputer R1100 series is housed in a 6061 aluminum alloy enclosure featuring transparent PC side panels. It supports communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, and KNX, and is compatible with popular frameworks such as Node-RED, CODESYS, and Balena. Dual-sided LED indicators provide quick operational status feedback, while flexible mounting options include DIN-rail and wall installation. The device supports Raspberry OS, Debian, the Yocto Project, and Buildroot for operating system customization.

reComputer R1113 IoT Gateway points

The reComputer R1100 series features a fanless design for efficient heat dissipation and comes with a 2-year warranty. It is backed by a production lifetime extending until December 2030 for long-term availability. The IoT gateway is well-suited for industrial applications such as automation, energy management, smart agriculture, and manufacturing.

The new gateway follows the reComputer R1025-10 introduced a few months ago as the first model in Seeed Studio’s reComputer R1000 series. Equipped with a Raspberry Pi CM4 module featuring 4GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage, the R1025-10 offers three isolated RS485 interfaces, a standard SIM card slot, and six LED indicators. You can see how the R1100 and R1100 gateway families differ in the comparison table below.

reComputer R1100 vs R1000
Differences between R1100 and R1000 models

The reComputer R1100 package includes the IoT gateway, a DIN-rail clip, a screw pack, a DC power female jack to screw terminal adapter, a 9×2-pin terminal block connector (male), five 120Ω resistors, and a user manual. There’s no wiki for the R1100 right now, but a user manual (PDF) is available instead. Eventually, it will probably be converted into a web-friendly wiki similar to the one for the R1000 with a hardware overview, project examples, module information, and additional resources.

The reComputer R1113-10 Edge IoT gateway is available for backorder at $179.00, with shipping expected to begin on December 24, 2024.
