Last month we noted the Intel Processor N150, Processor N250, and Core i3-N355 Alder Lake-N Refresh CPUs were found in the upcoming ASUS NUC 14 Essential mini PC family, but availability was unclear. The Beelink EQ14 is the first Intel N150 mini PC which can be purchased today on either AliExpress (with EU plug) or Amazon for $182 and up for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024.
Beelink calls the CPU family “Twin Lake” instead of “Alder Lake-N Refresh”, but we can’t confirm that since the N150 has not been officially launched yet and it’s not listed on Intel Ark. The computer is equipped with 16GB DDR4 memory, a 512GB NVMe SSD, two HDMI ports, two gigabit Ethernet ports, WiFi 6, etc… It also comes with a more unusual feature: a built-in AC power supply, something we previously saw in the Beelink EQ13 with an Intel N200/N100 CPU.

The Beelink EQ14 mini PC comes preloaded with Windows 11 Pro and ships with a power cord (US, EU, UK, JP, or AU), a one-meter HDMI cable, and a user manual.
We also have some performance metrics with Beelink sharing an illustration pitting the Intel N150 against the popular Intel N100 CPU and showing an 11% performance improvement in 3Dmark Time Spy, and a cool 33% improvement in Cinebench R23 multi-core benchmarks. That’s a bigger delta than expected for the latter, and time (and testing) will tell whether it comes from improved cooling and increased power limits, or some architectural changes besides just a slightly higher CPU clock (3.6GHz vs 3.4GHz).
Additional information may also be found on the product page where you can purchase the system for $209 plus shipping.

not available for Romania in aliexpress – what are the target regions ?
I think it will be available on AliExpress to European customers in a few days. As I understand it, selling in Europe is more complicated and it requires some extra steps/paperwork. Otherwise it’s also available through the product page at the end bought directly from the Beelink website.
So it’s basically an N97 with a gimped N100-style GPU. Why did they even bother releasing this?
