Toradex Verdin AM62 is a system-on-module based on Texas Instruments AM62 Cortex-A53/M4 processor with up to 1GB LPDDR4 RAM and 8GB eMMC flash that is the most affordable system-on-module from the company’s Verdin family.
The module also comes with a Gigabit Ethernet PHY and an optional WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5 module and exposes various interfaces through its edge connector such as dual Gigabit Ethernet, MIPI DSI and LVDS display interfaces, a MIPi CSI-2 camera interface, and CAN FD, and more.

Torax provides support for its own TorizonCore IoT Linux distribution, Yocto Project for custom Linux image development, and Android. FreeRTOS is also coming soon for the Cortex-M4 real-time core. The Toradex Verdin AM62 SoM targets industrial automation, healthcare, Smart City, transportation, and test & measurement applications, and was designed after Toradex received input from their customer who wanted a lower power and lower cost SoM compatible with NXP i.MX 8M Mini and NXP i.MX 8M Plus Verdin system-on-modules.
Verdin AM62 samples are available to early-access customers and will also offer long-term availability until at least the year 2033. Further details may be found on the product page.
