MINIX B14 1-to-4 wireless HDMI kit supports up to four Full HD displays

We’ve covered various wireless HDMI solutions over the years, such as the Xiaomi Wireless Casting Adapter or ProScreenCast SC02, but I think it’s the first time I’ve come across something like the MINIX B14 1-to-4 wireless HDMI kit with support for up to four Full HD displays.

The MINIX B14 comes with a single HDMI Tx dongle and four HDMI Rx dongles to be connected to four monitors or TVs. The solution works over dual-band WiFi and additional HDMI Rx can be added if needed.

The full kit ships with one transmitter, four receivers, five USB-A to USB-C cables for power, four HDMI extension cables for the receivers, and a user manual. As I understand it, it’s a plug-and-play solution and no drivers are needed, although we are told that additional HDMI Rx dongles require pairing. The company does not provide any FPS numbers, but claims a “low latency”.  MINIX also mentions that the product “works with laptops, smartphones, tablets, and handheld game consoles that support DP-Alt video output”. That must be a copy/paste gone wrong from their MINIX B21 dual USB-C to wireless HDMI kit.

Typical applications for such a 1-to-4 wireless HDMI solution include presentations, meetings, classrooms, outdoor events, digital signage, video surveillance, conferences, and mobile devices. Some solutions, like the SC02 mentioned in the introduction, are designed for business meetings with support for one receiver connected to a projector and multiple transmitters, so that participants can share their laptop’s screen as needed. The MINIX N14 quad wireless HDMI kit operates in the opposite way with one transmitter and multiple receivers.

The MINIX B14 1-to-4 wireless HDMI kit sells for $168.97 on Amazon after ticking the 20% discount box, or $199 on the MINIX website.
