ASROCK only lists Windows 11 for their new AMD products and mentions they are suitable for AI PCs, gaming, content creation, tech enthusiasts, prosumers, and AIoT applications.
The AMD Ryzen AI 300 and Intel Core Ultra 200 solutions will have some differences in terms of performance, but ASROckc did not compare those. What I could do is compare the specifications and the AMD and Intel BOX PCs and motherboards are almost identical. Benefits of the AMD Ryzen AI 300 models include 8K 60Hz video output via HDMI and two USB4 ports instead of one. But they lack SATA, a COM/serial interface, and only support 2.5GbE + GbE instead of having two 2.5GbE jacks on the Intel Core Ultra 200 hardware.
ASROCK Industrial has yet to disclose pricing for its new motherboards and Box PCs, but you may find additional details on the Fanned Embedded Box PC, NUC, and 4X4 product pages on the ASRock website. As I was also about to complete this article, I received another email from the company about the launch of various Intel Core Ultra 200S Arrow Lake-S motherboards in mini-ITX, micro-ATX, and ATX form factors. I won’t go into detail here, but you can check the press release for further information.
