As usual, EDATEC supports Raspberry Pi OS Desktop/Lite 32-bit/64-bit with drivers required to support the features of the panel PC. They either provide complete images or a script to configure the stock Raspberry Pi OS image after installation. It’s not the first fanless panel PC based on a Raspberry Pi CM4 module that we covered as the ComfilePi CPi-C070WR4 7-inch panel PC that also looks to be fanless, and we had also written about higher-end Intel-based fanless panel PCs.
EDATEC says the ED-HMI2320-156C model is still undergoing sampling, and they sell one – and exactly one! – sample on Aliexpress for $399 plus shipping. If it’s out of stock you’d have to contact them to find out about availability. Additional information may also be found on the product page.

I see we are almost at a point where Europe is banned from Aliexpress or vice-versa !!! In that case, the only solution to get a sample is to contact EDATEC directly.
What could be the reason for such bans? Raspberry Pi CM4 has all the paperwork for the EU market. Is the product as a whole unit with EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC)?
I think it could be about VAT settings in Aliexpress or companies need some extra paperwork to sell to Europe. I don’t know. Some Aliexpress shops can still ship to Europe just fine.
