FirmUX embedded Linux dashboard WiFi 7 module

8devices Noni modules support the FirmUX embedded Linux platform that provides developers a choice between fully open-source or proprietary Qualcomm drivers. The OS enables WPA3 security, comes with a responsive UI dashboard, supports Wireguard VPN, and the company claims up to 34 percent improvement over OpenWrt on the earlier Mango boards.

FirmUx Basic with AP, router, and bridge functionalities is free (as in beer), but the “Standard” and “Premium” versions bring additional features such as a responsive UI, dual boot support, mesh networking, and UI rebranding. The source code for FirmUX is open-source and available for download, but only to customers.

8devices is selling the Noni WiFI 7 module for $74 to $85 on its online store. Further details may be found on the product page.

Firmux is running on the host, not on the card. Or you can pick platform, that runs up-to-date ath12k driver, which should work as well
