The AK1 Plus looks like an upgrade to the AK1 mini PC that was introduced in 2017 with a similar design (although the 2.5-inch drive was part of the main unit) and a Celeron J3455 Apollo Lake processor.
The AK1 PLUS mini PC ships with a power adapter, an HDMI cable, a user manual, and a VESA mount and comes pre-loaded with >Windows 11 Pro. We are not told about the detachable base connects to the main unit, but there seems to be a USB-C connector so the drive would be seen as a detachable USB drive from the operating system.
Like most other Alder Lake-N devices we’ve covered, the KAMRUI AK1 Plus offers good value with pricing starting at $125.99 for the model with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD (providing you tick the box for the $17 coupon), and the top model with 16GB RAM/1TB SSD goes for $190.99.
