Makerdiary nRF52840 Connect Kit is a development board based on Nordic Semi nRF52840 multiprotocol wireless microcontroller with support for Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Mesh, NFC, Thread, Zigbee, 802.15.4, ANT, and 2.4 GHz proprietary connectivity.
The nRF52840 Connect Kit comes in a compact form factor with a USB-C port for power and programming, a 64 Mbit QSPI flash, flexible power management, and a rich set of features. Makerdiary offers two versions, one with a chip antenna, and another with an external u.FL antenna.

The board ships with a UF2 bootloader supporting drag-and-drop programming over USB mass storage like the Raspberry Pi Pico. The nRF52840 Connect Kit also supports the nRF Connect SDK based on Zephyr RTOS and including protocol stacks, samples, hardware drivers, and more. Makerdiary also offers CircuitPython support to access hardware-specific functionality and peripherals with a subset of the Python programming language. Makerdiary has been making nRF52840 at least since 2019 starting with the Pitaya Go board and followed by the nRF52840 Micro Development Kit (MDK) breadboard-friendly devkit that is offered with an optional dock adding an AA battery holder and some Grove connectors. So I’d expect pretty good support for the board, and no bad surprises.
Makerdiary is selling for nRF52840 Connect Kit board for $19.90 to $21.90 depending on the antenna type and whether you need the headers soldered or not.
