Cincoze P1201 is a slim embedded computer based on an Atom x6000E Elkhart Lake processor and mostly designed for panel PC applications thanks to the company’s patented CDS (Convertible Display System) connector that allows the mini PC to slide into the back of a display for easy installation.
Equipped with up to 32GB RAM, SATA and/or mSATA storage, the P1201 can also be used for generic embedded and industrial applications thanks to DisplayPort and VGA video interfaces, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, optional wireless modules for WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular, terminal blocks for RS232, RS485, and digital I/Os, as well as support for a wide supply voltage up 48V, and a -40°C to 70°C operating temperature range.

The Cincoze P1201 adopts a fanless design to protect the electronics from dust and hazardous substances, and the company offers Wall, VESA, CDS, and DIN Rail mounting options. Supported operating systems include Windows 10 and Linux with the latter supported upon request.
The company could have done a better job of explaining their CDS connector because at first, I was confused since it does not show up in the I/O description at all above. Eventually, I understood the white connector in the video embedded further below is the CDS connector, and as I understand it, we can just remove the cover next to the 2.5-inch HDD tray to reveal the connector and slide the P1201 mini PC into one of the company’s CDS displays from 8-inch to 24-inch in size.
You may find a few more details in patent No. M482908 entitled “Modular convertible display system for industrial application” registered in 2014 in Taiwan.
So basically the Cincoze P1201 is a dual-use Elkhart Lake embedded PC that can easily be transformed into an industrial-grade panel PC. Pricing for the computer and CDS display is not public, but you may find additional detail on the product page.
