Vecow EAC-500 can be walled mount with a mounting bracket, and the company offers an optional DIN Rail mount as well. It runs the usual Ubuntu 20.04 OS with the JetPack SDK. The system alo supports Allxon device monitoring and management services for out-of-band management and disaster-recovery services at remote locations 24/7.
The EAC-5000 is said to provide up to 8 times the AI performance than solutions based on the earlier NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier module, for faster and/or more energy-efficient performance for machine vision and automotive applications such as autonomous vehicles.
Vecow did not provide availability information, but we do know the EAC-5000 system with an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module was showcased at InnoTrans 2022 (Sep 20 – 23) and VISION 2022 (October 4 – 7) and is currently demonstrated at the Vision Show 2022 (October 11-13).
