Acrylic A50+ is a multi-functional wireless stereo amplifier that can stream a variety of sources to your passive speakers and active subwoofers. The amplifier features two 50W outputs, one subwoofer RCA output, two analog stereo RCA inputs, as well as only optical S/PDIF input.

Does this have better audio quality than RPi + DAC shield?
This has a 24bit/192KHz DAC
And hifi-dac has a 32bit/384Khz DAC
But this is also a amplifier.
I think all multiroom audio systems are rather expensive.
I did a DIY with squeezebox and squeezelite on a ESP32 with an amp which does a surprisingly good job. but is far from a commercially finished setup.
I am perplexed by the claim that this is a “wireless amplifier” when in fact there are plenty of wires in play here. When I see “wireless amplifier” I assume that the amp can magically transfer power and audio signal over thin air to the speakers whether they are powered or not. That’s not the case here at all. Finally, someone who has it right, I agree with you entirely. The only wireless part is that you can connect wirelessly though apps or network or Bluetooth. Nothing is completely wireless yet às it still needs to be powered yet.
