Lol ok… Can you in the meantime place a leave mobile page button straight at the top for me? Basically as I understood gpdr requires an opt out possibility for non essential cookies and such things… All very annoying but at least there is a possibility to stop a bit of tracking madness (at least that’s what I’m telling to myself). It seems theres GPDRaas offerings, as many eu pages have the same crappy opt in/out dialogues always trying to fool you to go all in. It would be so easy if a kind of DNT setting in the browser… Read more »

Back on topic: seems like the perfect box i was looking for for a long time. Just hope the industrial tag won’t add a great mark-up on pricing.

Hope is dead, industrial will add a “great” mark-up.

I’d prefer newer HDMI/DP and 2 audio jacks. But it’s a nice box.

An ASRock 4X4 BOX-R1000V barebones goes for $300 on NewEgg. Do not expect less, I’d say $500+ depending on CPU given that any 4000 series Zen 2 APU looks at an R1000 series into the rear mirror far away behind. In addition the mobo brings 2.5 GbE, WiFi 6, USB 3.2 Gen 2, 64GB dual channel at 3200 MT/s so all the “modern” check boxes are checked. Add more $ for the memory, NVMe…

Per actual usage experience: Powered off power: 1.7W Max Power during boot: 56.7W Idle: 9.2W Max Power running Phoronix test suite pts/compilation: 80.8W This little box is quasi-excellent but is flawed in terms of thermal solution. During the Phoronix test suite pts/compilation the CPU temperature (Tdie and Tctl) is mostly stationary at 95C with a max of 98C. The noisy internal fan is running like crazy. I’m pretty sure the CPU is throttling down. I’m running several Phoronix test suites do compare with other Ryzen, including a 4750G. I will open the box and make a custom thermal solution with… Read more »
