GPD P2 Max comes with Windows 10 Home 64-bit and will ship with a 24W charger, a warranty card, and a specification sheet.
The crowdfunding campaign has a target of 700,000 HKD (~$89,000 US) which has been surpassed after a few hours thanks to over 200 backers at the time of writing. GPD P2 Max Kaby Lake will cost $635 instead of $530 during the Indiegogo campaign, and the Amber Lake version $842 instead of $705. Worldwide shipping is already included in the rewards’ amount, so it does not add to the cost. Backers should expect their mini laptop / Ultrabook to be shipped in September 2019.
GPD has already sent prototypes for early reviews.
Liliputing also got a sample, and if you are unsure whether you’d rather get One Mix 3 Yoga or GPD P2 Max, they’ve published a comparison between the two 8″+ mini laptops.

So like the Chuwi MiniBook on indiegogo ?
It seems to be coming down to what size screen (and res) that you want out of a device. Also the Chuwi has a 360 hinge so will operate in ‘YOGA’ mode. It is great to have a choice in this market area.
An interesting machine. Unfortunately, ‘battery good for about 8 hours of 1080p video playback’ means absolutely nothing for the prospective audience — how about productivity tasks?
Is it a crap? Dell sells 2-in-1 laptops from 190usd for 11″ Celeron. Who needs 16gb ram on 8.9″ lcd, what for? For about 500usd you can buy i5 13″ 2-in-1.
