If you need something larger than a smartphone and still offering 4G data connectivity, Chuwi Hi9 Pro tablet might be interesting with its 8.4″ high resolution display, Mediatak Helio X20 processor, 3GB/32GB memory & storage configuration.
It’s especially interesting in the next few days as, Chuwi and GearBest have launched a promotion offering the 4G tablet for just $139.99 shipped.

Dang, I was looking for a tablet to replace mine with 4G, and looked perfect, except Mexico has LTE Band 4 🙁
It seems unclear what bands Chuwi devices really have.
For example on the Chuwi Hi9 Air website it claims to only have LTE band 1/2/3/5/7/8/20/40 support however someone who tested the device showed a screenshot with it claiming to support 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/20/28/38/39/40/41 on device itself.

If true that combined with Treble support at least on the Hi9 Air makes it a great Android tablet.
Will order 1, I hope it is LTE Band 4 🙂
If you have trouble getting it to work there were some recommendations in the later posts on the above thread to put the sim in a phone to make sure 4G/LTE is properly activated for the sim.
