STMicro Introduces STM32 LoRaWAN Discovery Board & I-NUCLEO-LWAN2 STM32 LoRa Expansion Board

STMicroelectronics and Mouser have launched two new products with LoRa connectivity: STM32 LoRaWAN Discovery Board with an STM32L072 ARM Cortex M0+ MCU and Semtech SX1276 transceiver, and I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 STM32 LoRa expansion board for STM32 Nucleo boards with an STM32L052 MCU and Semtech SX1272 radio transceiver.

Hello, i would to know up how many meter or kilometer for 14dB and 20dB?

No one can give you a accurate number as it depends on the environment, your antennas etc.

You can usually get 5Km if you have line of sight at 14dBm, more if the one or both devices are at high altitude. It’s possible to manage 15Km+ under very strict conditions.

However in an urban, busy, environment without line of sight it can quickly drop to 200 meters… so it’s quite sensitive to path attenuation, interference, etc.

EU regulations limit transmissions in this 868Mhz band to 14dBm so I haven’t tested on 20dBm.
